Margaret seemed touched by Lenny's words. She took another puff of her cigarette and said after a while, "Fine. I will give it to him."
Lenny smiled and nodded. "Thank you very much."
After that, he wrote down his contact in his notebook, tore the piece of paper, and handed it to Margaret.
She read it and muttered, "Lenny Park."
Nodding, she said, "Okay."
Lenny, happy his efforts weren't wasted, joked, "Honestly, I was surprised you even listened to us after what my friend did. You're a very understanding person. Thank you."
Margaret puffed out some smoke. "Sure, no problem."
Eunice and Margaret just glared at each other, but Eunice then sighed and said, "I'm sorry for earlier."
Margaret just shrugged and didn't reply.
Glancing at Eunice and Sophia, Lenny stood up and added, "I guess it's time we take our leave."
Eunice stood up too and said to Sophia in a whispered tone, "Call me whenever."
Sophia nodded.
