"Good morning," Natalie greeted her father-in-law and the Castillo family members who were already gathered around the dining room table—Mariana thankfully missing from the gathering.
She received no greetings in return. Perhaps they are upset about the way Alonso and I left the salon last night.
She took a deep breath as she walked to her chair, pulled it out, and sat down, her eyes on her uncle who was making his way down the stairs toward her. He was the reason she stepped out of her room before her husband did having heard the door to the guest room closing.
"Good morning," Jack said strolling into the dining room.
"Good morning!" Natalie quickly responded, reaching towards the seat next to her and adjusting it slightly to ensure he would come and sit next to her.
