The group strolled slowly and alert down the path of the tunnel.
Sky was in command, his beloved weapon in his hands. Hannah was second in line, brandishing her Magus spear in the air. While Hex and Mizumi took the back walking the steady pace posed on them by their leader.
Hex was still deep on thought. To suppose he would die within the next several hours?
The notice discovered Hex in a state of confusion. It was ridiculous and hard to believe.
According to the notification he would die If nothing in his Stats changed, he thought. That meant he only needed to level up.
'If the worst happens, I will just kill one of these guys to live.'
"I am Sky, Havery's second-in-command; what is your name?" Hex heard the calm resolved voice of their leader Sky.
He didn't need to think twice to know he was the one being addressed.
"I am Hex the Magus." Hex replied kindly. Hex wasn't built on looking for trouble at the moment. He thought if he answered kindly, Sky would stop pestering. Unfortunately....
Sky turned and winked at Hex with a comforting smile on his face. "Welcome to the group! You won't die as long as I am here."
Hex almost burst into laughter. It was amusing to hear Sky say that.
'This small fry thinks he can protect me.... Man I am being looked down on.'
{Phantom analyzed}
Name: Sky
Level: 54
Race: human
Job: Cursed slayer
Skills: double attack
Status: friendly, anxious.
Hex folded his lips after reading this notification. The laughter was about to rush out his lungs. 'This guy's talent is comedy.'
"By the way what's your ability?" Sky muttered urgently, cocking his head back to view his front window.
"I can kill stuff; let me know when you want to kill someone." As Hex finished, he heard a distant grumbling from Hannah. She too was listening to their conversation.
'Awww! And my sister tells me girls aren't clingy.'
Sky gave a short chuckle shaking his head. He respected Hex's decision. No one would easily blurt out their ability to just anyone without considerably knowing him.
"Nevermind, with me around, you might not need to use your ability." Sky sounded proud and sure of himself.
Hopefully he would be able to back all what he spoke about firmly.
The time for that didn't take long to come. As an arrow flew across the tunnel soaring towards Sky's head.
Luckily Sky was skillful enough to evade the attack leaving the arrow to implant itself to the ground yards away.
Gwaauk! Kyhhaack!
The grunts and violent battle cries of the entire groups sent fearful shudders up their spine.
Before them stood an incredible army of Orcs, all armed with elegant man-gutting weapons.
This made Sky swallow hard.
'A fucking army!!!'
Can Sky triumph against an army of Orcs on his own? Will Hex fight and reveal his skills before his other mates.....?
