It was hoping to get a huge chunk of flesh from Hex.
Hex just had to sidestep to avoid the snake as it lunged past him.
He summoned one of his daggers into his grasp and plunged it into he Snake's side.

His dagger simply skid off the snakes thick amour sending gold sparks of flickering lights anonymously into the air.
As he expected. The snake's body was constructed of a strong steel-like material.
He wouldn't be able to penetrate easily even with his strength.
The snake spun fast, returning to Hex with remarkable speed.
