When Quinlan opened his eyes, he raised a brow immediately. After all, he was in a space of nothingness, with only a small, rocky platform beneath his feet, about a meter in diameter. Other than that, nothing but darkness spread around him.
"What is this now? An illusion?"
He tried to step over, beyond the platform he was on, but there was no invisible floor there, or anywhere around him. At least, there was nothing within the spear's range.
After trying out everything he could easily try, he shrugged. "Hmm... Looks like we need to wait for the notification first, to figure out what we need to do."
It was a little weird, however, as the notification was getting delayed more and more as he went up to higher floors. On the sixth floor, it appeared after a minute passed, and now, on the 7th floor, it only showed up after five minutes!
