As soon as she used Moonlight Return, Xu Mei's appearance changed. Her long black hair turned the same color as the moon, pale yellow, with her eyes glowing in gold. A sky-blue Hagoromo manifested out of thin air, floating over her shoulders and waving gently.
Xu Mei appeared as if she were a holy goddess who came down to the mortal plane to bring judgment.
This transition occurred while she dodged Yan Yan's attacks, and as her strength gradually increased, she could defend more and more easily. After her abilities peaked about three times that of normal, Yan Yan finally lost her edge as the tables turned.
