Chapter 7 - Curse Of The Stars...

The grand hall of the castle echoed with a startling silence as the young witch's mother, her eyes ablaze with vengeance, unleashed the tempest of dark magic upon the room. The courtiers, frozen in fear, bore witness to a dark power that defied the laws of the known world.

With an eerie calmness, the witch raised her hand, and the princess was enveloped in an ethereal glow that was in stark contrast to the dark magic filling the throne room. The king, his cries of desperation echoing through the hall, fell to his knees pleading the witch. "Please, spare my daughter! She's innocent! She tried to save your kind! Don't punish her!"

The witch, a tear falling from her face and her voice resonating with the echoes of sorrow and rage, spoke with an otherworldly authority. "She shall not be harmed, for my grievance is with you, Aldric."

Using her dark magic, the witch held the princess before her like a celestial puppet, the girl suspended in a shimmering star. The princess, trapped yet unharmed, gazed at her father with eyes filled with confusion and fear.

The king, tears streaming down his face, begged for mercy. "I beg you, spare her. I will do anything to undo all the wrongs I have committed. I will no longer send out witch hunters! I will spare your kind!"

The witch, her heart heavy with the weight of loss, spoke with a solemn resolve. "Your daughter shall not suffer for she chose to try and help my daughter but the consequences of your choices shall be etched into the fabric of her destiny. You will lose her! You will be all alone like I! And it doesn't matter anyway your filth that you call witch hunters have already spread out past your kingdom you nor I can reach them now!"

In an instant, the princess was encased in an eight-pointed star-shaped prison, its radiant glow casting a soft light upon the throne room. The witch, her anger sated, addressed the king. "From this day forth, your daughter shall be a guide and protector, for a witch who wishes for her help. Until then, she shall remain in the heavens, a beacon of both hope and yet a constant reminder that this was a consequence of your actions. You will never see her again! She will live but your kingdom will fall! Little princess... I... I am sorry but I must have vengeance for my child... You won't suffer but you will never see your father again." Cersie, trapped inside the star, understood the witch but a tear fell from her eye as she cried for her father and for herself. As Cersie reached out from the star, calling for her father, the witch waved her hand and the star faded away. "I am truly sorry for this, my kind princess... I wish for you to create a better future for both of our kinds..."
