A sigh of relief immediately left Xiang Ling's lips and she visibly relaxed at the news. "As long as he's not dead, I'm sure everything will be fine." She whispered more to herself, but felt Zhang Xuan squeezing her fingers lightly in assurance.
"Don't worry too much. Let's wait for a little bit more. I'm sure he will return to the Chen Manor as soon as possible."
Xiang Ling nodded her head in agreement. She too believed that the first place Xu Wei would go after fleeing from that prison like place would be the Chen Manor.
"What are we going to do next? When is the High Council's meeting?" She asked, knowing fully well if there was anyone who could answer her questions then it was Zhang Xuan. The man always knew about everything that was going on in any corner of the Five Realms.
"The meeting will be held within next few days." Zhang Xuan informed her and the news left Xiang Ling stunned.
