Gradually, my eyelids shifted over my eyes before I finally opened them to survey my surroundings. Initially, I thought I had descended into hell, as darkness engulfed my entire field of vision, stretching from left to right and upwards.
Adding the fact that the sound of something burning was there only added to my suspicions that I came to the afterlife after being met with a dozen Horrors in a condition that I had no way of fighting.
Even if I were in perfect health there, I'm certain the same outcome would occur, as Mindless Horrors simply brute-force their way toward me without any regard for strategies or synergy.
I've also had experiences like that when I was clearing Dreaded Swamps but I didn't put myself in this situation.
Also, I didn't get to steal some abilities there since I was focusing on clearing it rather than capitalizing and learning the repository which is one of the dumbest slip-aways I had done.
