Chapter 257 - He Returns

In the demon continent.

The sky was as dark as the abyss, with no stars to light up the world below. The earth took on the job of luminance as a reddish-brown glow emanated from the ground, dimly illuminating the world.

On the beach of the black sea, the luminance was weaker, as most of the sands of the black sea were as black as the sea itself. Only a few patches of reddish-brown shimmered faintly, their glow overshadowed by the blackness of the sky, sea, and land.

On this desolate beach stood a warrior, adorned in light golden armor. His skin was pale like a ghost, with painful cracks running all over his body. His hair had melted to his scalp, leaving him looking rugged, like the corpse of one who had suffered a lava bath. Yet, strangely enough, his body remained intact, his skin refusing to peel away as it should.
