Strong winds brushed past the passengers atop a large black bird, it's feathers as dark as the abyss, from below it looked more like a flying silhouette than a figure with a body.
The twilight, welcoming the night, bathed them in its dim luminance, exposing the uneasy expression on the face of the dark elf who flew alongside the large bird, his wings as black as the feathers of the bird beside him.
"Umbranis, what's wrong?" Ossa inquired, noticing the distressed expression on the dark elf's face, unable to guess the cause.
They had been smiling and laughing just a moment ago, but suddenly, he and the night owl became quiet. The silence seemed to foreshadow an impending crisis, as this was ulike their usual demeanor, especially Umbranis.
Ossa, unaware of their worries yet curious to know asked again, "What's wrong with you two?"
"Yeah, Aunt, Uncle, why are you so quiet?" Bel joined in, concern etched on her beautiful face.
