" They are here," the commander muttered, rising from his chair as the signal from the crushed crystal reached his ears.
He unhurriedly got up, picked up his longsword before getting out of the tent.
" I know you are here, show yourself," he exclaimed, his voice echoing in the night.
Inside the tents, murmurs sounded as the warriors who remained got out of the tents, wondering why the commander was shouting in the middle of the night. Their fingers crossed in hope that it was not the perpetrator of the missing warriors.
" Sir, is it here?" Richard inquired, standing beside the commander.
Without turning to him, the commander replied, "It is." He added, "Instruct the remaining warriors to stand in formation; it could attack at any time."
Richard quickly left the commander's side, going to relay the message to the small crowd outside.
