On Seraphina's side:
"Grandpa, what happened, the connection?!" Seraphina inquired, her eyes a mix of disbelief and worry.
"Yeah... I don't know what happened," the demi-god of magic said, surprising Seraphina.
"How come grandfather doesn't know? Is Thanatos interfering again? What about the voices I heard?" She thought, as before the call cut off, she had heard hoarse voices, voices she believed belonged to human males.
"I don't think you need to worry, I can sense her vitals from here," Rohan reassured, as he could hear her thoughts.
"I pray she is," Seraphina said, fervently wishing for Bel to be alright.
Meanwhile, Bel was under rubble, blood trickling down her face as a stray rock had hit her head, rendering her unconscious.
"Bel?!... Bel?!" Ossa called out worriedly as he crouched over her, using his skeletal frame to hold up the large debris that threatened to fall on his master.
