"Did I do that?!" Bel's gaze fell on the burnt corpses which crumbled into ashes as Ossa touched them, taking the yellow cores out of them.
"How did I do that?" She browsed her memories as she was too scared at that time to make any rational decisions, but she knew for a fact that she was the one, as she noticed tiny dark green flames dancing on the ashes, flames she knew all too well.
"I thought only small flames could come out of my fingers... Am I powerful now, like those people who took mother away?" she thought, her imagination running wild.
"Bel, are you OK?" Ossa tugged at her shoulder as she seemed to be spaced out, her thoughts unknown to him.
"I'm OK, I... I am strong now. I can protect you. No one can take you away like they took mother," she said, clenching her fist to show her resolve.
"Huh?!" Ossa was confused as he did not know what she was talking about.
