Still elicited no response whatsoever.
The silver-haired elf, who had been standing in front of the door knocking, heaved a sigh and gave the door a last look before turning around to leave.
Just as he took two steps away from the door, he heard a sound.
Creak~!!
Hearing the door creak open, DabbDabb stopped and turned around. He saw Petri standing at the entrance to her room, where he had been knocking, with her eyes moistened by tears.
'Was she crying?' DabbDabb said inwardly. 'Was what I said that hurtful to her?'
Seeing the tears that gathered in her eyes, DabbDabb felt a little guilt spark in his heart. He became regretful of his words. Even if he had no intentions of hurting his friend, the utterances from his mouth did anyway and he had to own up to it.
