That was the exact thought that HotKid3000 had.
Feeling the hostility in Spectre's voice, he retreated his arm from the white-haired boy's shoulders and waved his hands frantically as he stepped back from him.
"Eek! No. No. No. It's nothing like that," HotKid3000 refuted his idea, eager to get on Spectre's good side.
Spectre kept a poker face and said nothing but watched him try to defend himself.
'Sheesh, man. Why so hostile?' the redhead wondered about the player in front of him.
"Trust me, it really is nothing like that, man. Just that we need a member in my party and I wanted you to come over to my side as my friend… you know, as my man…"
HotKid3000 paused and looked around for not more than three seconds before pushing closer into Spectre's personal space again.
He covered one side of his mouth with his hand as if being wary of lip readers.
