Surprisingly, the deadly strikes of the Green Mantis that it was once used to torment Damon at the start of the battle were reduced to feeble attempts that could only elicit a puff from its enemy, sign of pity toward the Green Mantis.
Damon's shield continued to gleam with radiant light and the player continued to endlessly strike the insect, resolute on ending the match as fast as possible.
A few more minutes passed and in that time, Damon had turned it around completely.
