The elf rose to her feet.
"Nooo! I don't know what I want!" she snapped at the young man.
"My father is long gone and my sister, Reya, is missing. She's missing because she was trying to protect me. The same with Leon. It's all my fault!"
She could no longer control herself and tears fell from her eyes.
"It's... it's all my fault!"
Damon approached her closely, putting his hand on the elf's back to comfort her.
"No, it's not," he said. "You don't have to blame yourself, instead blame it on your circumstances else you two would be here, happy and laughing together."
Damon gazed at Ysar. Her elven eyes were red and swollen due to the recent stress and crying.
They stood at the edge of the ancient forest, the trees towering above, their hair swayed as the wind commanded it and Ysar's facial expression etched with worry.
Damon took a tentative step forward with his hand stretched out.
