To make an example of them and to exert her dominance over her elven slaves, Reya and Leon were executed without mercy despite being young.
She had snuffed the lives out of the pair of younger generation elves, much to the despair of every other slave elf as she forced them to watch.
The young elves were decapitated in cold blood and their heads hung on long spikes for their elven kin to behold and be reminded of the fate that awaited them if they ever planned an escape like they did.
"I don't discourage you from escaping," Brunt said that day, waving a finger and clicking her tongue as she paced back and forth with every slave gathered before her.
"In fact, I encourage it. But just don't get caught. Best for you to make a complete escape because if you're caught, you'd wish for a fate worse than death itself."
