A fight ensued between Damon and the band of goblins that had come to capture the elf and take her back to the mines.
Although the fight lasted more than Damon expected, thanks to him being outnumbered eight to one, he eventually came out victorious in the battle.
"Flease! Thont ki me (Please! Don't kill me!)" the last surviving goblin pleaded, barely saying comprehensible words with most of his teeth ousted by Damon.

The notification sound and pop-ups continued to happen after Damon had slain all eight goblins and absorbed the eight orange mana cores that came as the reward for his victory.
The mana cores had manifested from the bodies of the deceased goblins, after which, their bodies dispersed into particles of orange light and completely vanished in the air.
