A few days after the battle between Phantom999 and Doctor Fretan.
"Ah!" Phantom999 moaned softly with a grimacing face.
He placed his hand on his head to numb the ache in his head but it didn't help. The Black Ranger was restless, turning frequently on the bed where he laid.
His hollow eyes parted slightly, opening up to a blurry scene that took its time to clear.
Phantom999 got a better view of the ceiling over his head and blinked several times.
"Ah…" he winced in pain once more. "What is this place?"
He looked around but couldn't find any familiar form or anything at all that he could recognize.
Phantom999 tried to sit up but even that was a painful process. Eventually, he sat up and rested his back against the wall behind him, holding and massaging his neck to calm the pain he felt.
"Where am I?" he questioned again, carefully examining the room this time.
