Richard adjusted his Academy uniform, straightening out any creases before opening his door stepping out from his room. To his surprise, he encountered Alex in the hallway, their paths intersecting unexpectedly.
Richard's brows furrowed slightly in confusion as he mused, "I never knew Alex's room was next to mine. Well I guess I shouldn't be suprised, I never specified dorm room numbers in the novel. So it's only natural something like this would happen."
Alex looked slightly serious, gazing at Richard with a knowing look he spoke in a nonchalant tone. "Well, well, if it isn't Richard," Alex said, his tone carrying a hint of annoyance. "Fancy running into you here."
Alex folded his arms as he leaned casually against the wall, his eyes gleaming with curiosity. "I couldn't help but notice you were having a good laugh last night," he remarked casually, he then added. "What was that all about?"
