The pains in Silas' injuries were still there and Silas breathed out a heavy sigh as he decided to end this quickly.
'I'll end this fast.' Silas thought and then The dreadhead man dashed towards him with a smile on his face.
Sila stood and then as the man reached two metres in front of Silas he suddenly leapt and spun in the air and Silas' brows raised as he wasn't expecting this.
The man extended his leg as he got close to Silas and then Silas made a grabbing motion quickly.
The leg collided with the hand and Silas used the force to spin himself, dodging the kick and also waving his right leg towards the man who was still air borne.
*BANG!!*
The man was sent flying towards a table and then he hit his waist on the metallic table, making a cracking sound and then he gritted his teeth in pain.
"Yeahhhhh!!!"
Cheers erupted from the crowd around and then the guard who spoke before gestured for the two beside him to take the dreadhead away.
"Here's your new champion!!" The man said as he pointed at Silas and then cheers rang from every direction and then everyone went back to their tables.
The ladies there too were looking towards Silas' direction and then the guard looked back to see Silas eating his food in peace... Finally.
"Not gonna introduce yourself?" The guard asked as he removed his shades to reveal a raised brow.
"Black onyx." Silas said and then the guard frowned and everyone stopped talking and they all dropped their food and looked at Silas.
Those who didn't hear from afar asked others and when they heard what happened, they all looked at Silas in ridicule and shock.
"Yeah right. Black onyx, in a... Prison." The guard slowed down his words and then he remembered something.
The deputy of the police force came over with a particular prisoner who was bandaged up and have a specific instruction.
"Make sure he isn't harmed in any way. He's only here for protection, treat him well."
'I couldn't question the deputy about what that meant exactly.' The guard looked nervous and confused.
"What's wrong with the chief?"
"Could it be true?"
"He's not saying anything."
"What do we believe?"
The chatter was getting louder and louder and the chief of the guards heard some comments about him and he then realized something.
"I've seen the black onyx on a few surveillance cameras and personal records from his trafficker. He is a better fighter than you." The chief said as he yawned and stretched and then as he was about to say something else he saw Silas gesturing for him to wait.
Silas drank up the milk and ate the remaining fries and then he stood up and stretched.
"What are you--?" The guard gasped as Silas removed his shirt to reveal bandages and bleeding and then everyone was in shock at the injuries.
"I'm wounded, I'm only capable of doing half of what I'm really capable of." Silas said and then he wore his shirt back and left early towards the yard to relax.
The chief breathed out and looked around.
"Everyone should get back to eating and go to the yard!!" The guard said as he withdrew an electric whip and then the spectators ran over to their seats and then he walked away.
"I'll look at his profile, he might really be the one." The chief mumbled and the ones who were closeby and heard him immediately spread the news all around and everyone would wait for when the chief has confirmed the information.

Ever since 2025, when itherium was discovered, things has changed a lot.
The itherium was a metal which was capable of holding any type of energy and it was found in the eastern parts of an African country called Nigeria.
Nigeria was known for being one of the biggest mineral resources country in the world now... And also one of the most corrupt places.
Silas lived in Lagos state of Nigeria as of now and in front of his house stood deputy Mark and his assistant.
"Still no traces of her?" The assistant asked and Mark shook his head. He arranged his head warmer and neck scarf and then lighted up a cigarette.
"The woman who called in for Silas said she lives in the same house." Mark said.
"We've already asked around, that apartment has been vacant for months. No one's moved in yet." The assistant said and Mark breathed out as he removed the cigarette from his mouth.
"So what do we do now?" The assistant asked. He was also in a jacket and had a neck scarf and head warmer on.
"There's no clue. But at least we know what she looks like." Mark said and then they began walking back to their police car which was across the road.
The snow falling had gathered over Mark's head and he dusted his head warmer before putting it back on.
"Didn't know it was gonna snow this early this year." The assistant said as he rubbed his bare hends together.
"Yeah." Mark breathed out another round of smoke.
"Oh, and did you settle things with Roxanne?" The assistant, Sam, asked.
"Yes, Sam. I have." Mark said as he turned around.
"I just explained what actually happened so we're probably still having our date next week." Mark said and they both entered the car.
*Grrrrring Grrrrring...!!*
Mark's phone rang out a couple of times and he picked it up to see three missed calls already.
He cleared his throat as he picked the call from
"Hey, did you get anything for me?" Mark asked as he rested his hand on the window and then a voice came from the other side.
"Absolutely nothing bro. We got her name though, but her address and other information isn't recorded in the national identity system." The man on the other end said and then Mark shook his head.
"I'm feeling even more curious about this lady." Mark said.
"Don't, stop searching for her like she committed a crime. Just let her be, her details need to be updated though. So if you see her, you take her details." The man on the other end said and Mark sighed as he cut the call and dropped the phone.
