The crowd held its breath after the plump, stern woman ended her countdown. Some spectators exchanged disheartened glances, while others expressed their outrage more vocally:
"So, is this it? Is Bob the winner now?"
"I can't believe we waited all this time for nothing. What a waste."
"Nyx has no respect for anyone. He's clearly too afraid to face Bob."
"I swear, if I find Nyx, I'll teach him a lesson he won't forget. No one disrespects the Elite clans and the Red Ligeon like this."
The atmosphere in the arena was filled with anger as all the spectators vented out their anger. Some even threw insults at Nyx's entire generation, cursing them for this waste of time. Even the teachers shook their heads in disappointment.
But the people who were more disappointed were the few that had placed their bet on the red-haired boy.
