Asher couldn't believe his ears when he heard what Von said.
"No, they can't disown me just like that, I'm very talented!" He retorted, trying not to accept this revelation, but knowing Von's nature, he wasn't the type to joke with things like this.
"Talented? Tsk, it seems you've forgotten that there are several kids more talented and powerful than you back in the clan. There is nothing special about you." Von's cruel words pierced Asher's ears, and the blond boy's ego was being slowly crushed.
"You should be grateful the clan just disowned you. I wonder why they didn't send you to our territory in the Lost Lands… though." Von pondered as he looked at Asher, who was staring wide-eyed at the ground.
He was strong, yes, but the reason for his pride and arrogance was because he came from the number one Elite clan. With this gone, Asher felt as if something very important had been taken from him.
