After fleeing from Asher, Nyx found himself in a passage again, but the passage seemed oddly familiar as if he had passed through it before.
"Don't tell me I'm just walking in circles?" The red-haired boy said aloud as he looked around. Finding the mini Reward room in which the teleportation circle was located was a bigger worry than he had thought.
After stealing Asher's Monster cores, he had encountered four more Gorgons and swiftly dealt with them, bringing his total cores to 20. Even his experience points had increased significantly, though still very far from leveling up. However, this was due to him constantly rotating around the same passages.
Nyx was not making any progress at all, and now even the monsters that he encountered had greatly reduced. The only way for him to increase his experience points and accumulate more monster cores was to run into more monsters or humans.
