He was out of breath when he reached the alleyway. He ran all the way over. He knew that time was of the essence; he needed to help them, or else they would be the ones to lose this fight. Lucian had seen it when he had read the [Chrono Book].
He couldn't let that happen. Everything he had done was to have a team with all those strange individuals. He needed them for the future; they were the ones who would be making his life much simpler, and he had already prepared everything for that.
Alex saw Lucian arriving out of breath, seemingly lost and gritted his teeth.
'Don't tell me that he didn't manage to find anyone to help…'
Alex knew that this couldn't go on. His body wouldn't last much longer. There was a way for Alex to win…but if he used it, his entire body would be ripped to shreds. The body he had inherited simply wasn't on the same level as the one he had previously.
