"Hey!! Wake up!!"
"Huah!!" With a jolt, Haru snapped his eyes open, startled by a sudden push on his body.
In front of him wasn't the same convenience store where he was or the little girl.
Instead, before him stood an older man, the bus driver.
"Boy, this is the last stop and the bus won't go any further," the driver explained, gesturing to the empty seats around them. "Everyone else has left but you."
Haru took a moment to gather himself, his breath shaky as he processed the driver's words.
The images of what he had witnessed lingered in Haru's mind, causing a shiver to run down his spine. He couldn't shake off the memory of the eerie events, especially the unsettling fate of those passengers and the words of the little girl, who was bleeding from all over her body.
"Young man?"
The driver's voice interrupted Haru's thoughts.
