"No!" Atkin and Nara screamed in reluctance. The former glanced at the pale-skinned youth and asked agitatedly, "Lord Slade, why did you kill him? We still don't know how he was able to learn our secrets."
For Atkin to refer to the youth, who was the same rank as him, as 'Lord must mean that this person had a very strong background.
Slade glanced at the man and solemnly said, "Atkin, don't you find it weird that this lone Magus dared to come here all by himself and threaten to kill us?"
Nara protested angrily, "For all we know, this man must've been overcome by anger and just decided to come here to avenge whoever it was that—"
However, she was interrupted when Slade stepped forward and gently squeezed her cheek. He then applied a little pressure and spoke coldly, "My dearest Nara, you forget who you're speaking to."
