The sudden clank caused both the monkey and Martha to divert their attention towards the little imp, as the both of them suddenly rushed towards it.
Neither of them was to blame. Martha wasn't the one who stole the eggs, and her child was never the target of the Elite Monkey. Both were mothers who had been brought to the brink of insanity due to others' actions around them, and it seemed like they were way past their breaking point.
Noticing that the monkey was more agile than her, Martha quickly conjured a strong slash of wind, which moved towards the imp at an extremely high speed. The Elite monkey sensed the decisive attack before she let out a huge roar and jumped towards her child, trying to protect it from the deadly slash.
However, she was too late. The slash pierced through the imp, killing it in a single blow.
