David looked below at the corpse of thousands of serpents with satisfaction . His system was ringing continuously for the past few minutes, notifying him of the death of the monsters.
Sadly any monsters hunted during the Ascension quests were not converted to experience points. However this endeavour would be counted in his bonus rewards.
"Lets go quickly" he commanded the skeleton vulture, who flew downwards towards the temple with speed. The vulture flapped its large bony wings as it gently landed on the floor of the entrance to the temple.
"Excellent job," David praised the vulture with a smile, giving it a gentle pat before dismissing it. The skeletal bird vanished, leaving David alone at the threshold of the temple. With only one summon remaining, he knew he needed to conserve it for his escape.
