"Amplify: Ghastly Aura," David whispered, his voice barely audible over the crackling of flames and the chaos of battle.
Honestly it was quite a gamble for him. He had only used the spell once, that to against a weak opponent.
He didn't know the effect it would have on someone like Marie. 'What exactly would the spell amplify? the effect of fear?' David thought to himself at that moment.
Despite the gamble, David knew he had no choice but to try. The memory of using the spell against a lesser opponent offered little reassurance. What would its amplified effect be on Marie? Would it heighten her fear, or something else entirely?
However he did know that it was too late to bring upon the summons, as the monkey's weren't as agile as the wolf King and took their time materialising.
