"So, what's the plan?" Erik asked Sarah as they stood in the formation they had used against other monsters. Sarah and Joy stood in the front, with Erik providing them back up and Erina standing at the last, ready to do the role assigned to her.
"The Dungeon is beautiful", Sarah muttered. She looked around the faintly lit area and looked up, noticing the moon shining brightly over their heads. "It must be buffing the wolf-type monsters", she thought.
"We should be quick", she said as the party started to venture deeper.
"Where is that pervert?" Erina asked as she couldn't find David anywhere near her party.

"There he is!" Joy, who had been quiet till now, shouted as he pointed some distance away from them where there was a line of dead wolves.
David had leapt into action as soon as he entered the dungeon. He knew that Sarah and her party were going to take their time. "That is another reason why working in a team sucks.", he thought as he smashed his staff into another wolf, instantly killing it.
"These guys think they are having a picnic. But it's a fucking race. My damn account is at stake", he shouted to himself as he lunged towards another horde of wolves coming his way, slamming his staff onto their heads. "I love this stuff!" he grinned, dashing from one horde to another. Suddenly, a sword appeared next to him as Sarah joined the fray, executing precise sword strikes one after the other, killing the wolves in a single strike.
She paused briefly and looked at David, smiling before she increased her speed, rushing ahead to defeat the incoming wolves.
"She is after the contribution percentage! As if I would let her!" David grinned, casting a barrage of lightning spells, instantly killing the wolves.

Soon after, the remaining members of Sarah's party joined the battle, as they quickly displayed their skills and got rid of the wolf.
"Why the hell did you run off on your own?" Erina shouted. David glanced at her while walking forward towards the next area. "It's a challenge. There is no time for formations or examining the surroundings in the first region.", he muttered.
"The next region won't be easy, so get ready."
David had experience in dealing with Nightmare dungeons. He knew it wouldn't be easy with an inexperienced party who didn't want to listen to him.
Suddenly, a bunch of loud howls rang throughout the entire area, causing Sarah's party members to subconsciously take a step back.
Ten wolves twice the size of the previous wolves appeared before the party, growling and revealing their ferocious teeth. They were a shade darker than the usual wolves, and had sharp claws. David knew he couldnt just rush in and hit them with his staff.
"Elite wolfs. Get ready", Sarah said to her teammates and then looked at David, asking for his cooperation.
"I will help you guys, don't worry", he said as he held his staff tightly, ready to fight.
Joy stood before the party and let out a huge roar, activating his 'taunt' skill and causing all the wolves to pay attention to him. They lunged at him, but Sarah and Erik quickly executed their tactics. Erik's gauntlet set ablaze, and ice started forming on Sarah's sword as they dashed towards the wolves.
Erik punched one of the elite wolves as it howled in pain. "David, now!" Sarah shouted as David launched a lightning spell, causing the wolf to stagger before Sarah appeared on top of it, killing it with a precise strike.
"One down!" she smiled.
"These guys are strong! Why the hell are they fighting so inefficiently?" David grumbled. He lunged at the wolves, who were still under the effect of the taunt skill and smashed his staff onto its head before launching a flame spell using his hands at point-blank range. He quickly dashed from one wolf to another, executing the same strike, defeating three elite wolves.
Sarah looked at David, realising that her strategies would not work in a dungeon, where monsters needed to be defeated quickly. She quickly told her party to aid David, and the team jumped into action.
Erina, who was at the back, quickly cast a spell, increasing the mana regeneration rate of the party members. Erik landed a barrage of punches on the wolf, instantly killing it. Meanwhile, Sarah, displaying remarkable agility, sprinted towards a trio of wolves alongside Joy. As Joy stamped his feet upon the cavern floor, shockwaves rippled toward the wolves, disorienting them and forcing them into the air. With impeccable timing, Sarah stood poised, her blade gleaming with icy enchantment. In a fluid motion, she executed a precise strike, the sword dancing through the chilled air and extinguishing the lives of all three wolves in a single, deadly sweep.
"See! Teamwork doesn't mean you must focus on a single enemy. It means that you guys cover each other's weak points and quickly kill a large group of enemies", David said, smiling.
"These guys must look up to me now. I did save their asses. What if Sarah wants to marry me? It's too soon. How will I tell Tom that I bagged the girl he wanted? Maybe he can have Erina." David was lost in his thoughts.
"If you know so much about teamwork? Why the hell do you run off on your own?" Erina asked.
"you won't get it", David replied, trying to keep his extraordinary act.
"Nerd", Erina shrugged.
"damn you. Anyway, we should quickly move towards the boss room", David suggested to Sarah, and the party started to walk towards the next area.
The team stopped in front of a giant gate which would lead them to the boss room. Sarah opened the door, and the party followed her in.
