"Beings such as us aren't meant to be understood by lowly beings like you. It is beyond your comprehension and your capability to know anything about us that would satisfy your mind that is trained to follow logical thinking." She proclaimed.
"The only thing that you need to know is that you are being punished for your conduct." She declared with her eyes glaring straight at him, "You have been told to never dabble your hands in that forbidden art, yet your humane curiosity still got the better of you, which means that you have no proper conduct, no laws that bind you, which guarantees that you will only be a rogue Magus if you were to be allowed back."
"I once allowed you to retain your free will, but now I shall restrict it as your God." She then scattered the wine on to him, staining his bare body, burning it on his skin. His once flawless and handsome physique became that of a tainted one, filled with burns and scratches. "Because of your hubris, that mark shall be your curse, binding you to this world. The Tome of Ashan within you shall come out as a physicality, never to be hidden, and you shall forever carry it as a burden for you to always remember your curiosity that led you to this."
As she said this, the mark that was on Elric's skin began to spark as it glowed like a metal being forged in fire. Elric screamed in pain as the brand began to forever stay with him. The pain was so intense that he once more fell down on the carpet, his body clenching and throbbing. Behind him, a huge tome suddenly manifested together with metal chains that tied the book to his body.
When the pain receded, Elric soon noticed the book on his back that was already the size of his body. It had a great and majestic aura within it, as if it was holding all the secrets of the universe. Realizing what she said beforehand, he exclaimed, "The Tome of Ashan was within me this whole time?"
"Wait. You didn't know?" Jane gazed at him weirdly, as if looking at a fool. Elric shook his head rapidly, which confirmed what She heard. She was so disappointed that She could only facepalm Herself.
She soon regained her composure and proclaimed, "Either way, you are to carry the burden as its possessor from now on. You know yourself the magic that is within that tome." She looked at him with all seriousness, "You will be hunted by all kinds of beings who know its worth. You must safeguard it. Failure to do so will cause you to lose your only chance to return."
Sighing, Elric could only accept her verdict. Sensing his resignation to his fate, Jane the waved her hand, banishing Elric from the island entirely.
Inside the tower, Jane looked somewhere far away as the wine started to rise from the bottom of the wine glass on Her hand. Once the glass had enough wine, she looked up and smirked, mumbling to Herself, "How dare you use my dear Lucifer as a scapegoat for your plans? See to it that you will feel a mother's wrath." She then sipped Her wine before turning around and vanishing.
A thousand years after the "Flood" had passed. In the Heavenly Empire, with the three disciples— crowned as Princes— in charge of the different realms, the entire world began to develop. Multiple cities and towns began to rise, with the cities of the middle-east leading all the other cities across the world; an age that was called by those who knew it as "The Age of Three Capitals".
Although it was called as such, the reality was only the two cities under Shem and Ham respectively was the one that brings great prosperity, with Japheth's capital falling slightly behind. The two cities that were leading the current rise of the Empire was known as Shem's Jerusalem and Ham's Shinar.
One of the reasons why the two cities had such a lead compared to Japheth's Kanesh was because the two had been already built, with its foundation and influence over the people greater than the newly established city.
Jerusalem, firstly, was the old City of Amare, the first and true capital of the Heavenly State. Its spiritual significance for the people made it so that it became the spiritual pillar of the Empire. All significant worships and celebrations are held within the Glorious Capital.
Shinar, on the other hand, was the old city of Barg that was rebuilt after the battle against the Nephtal Empire. Its name was inspired from the Commander at that event, Shinar, to show the steadfastness of the people to protect their kin and comrades. Shinar, under Ham's lead, became the technological and research center of the Empire, being the city that introduces the world to new things altogether. Without the worry of eating and drinking, the focus of humanity was shifted from agriculture to technology that would help humanity reach greater heights together with the blessing that the Almighty God gave them. The title that was given to it by the people was that of The Great Capital.
Kanesh, the slowest and least favorable of the three cities, instead of helping humanity's rise, focused on what his other two sister cities abandoned; nature. With the reason of taking care of God's works here on Earth, Japheth, together with his sons and followers, insisted on planting, cultivating, and bringing life into barren lands without any edible plants. They were also the one that first discovered the return of animal life in the world, although their discovery was left unnoticed by the others. They were known to others as the Green Capital.
Without the old chaos that once wreaked havoc in the world, some lower angels also began establishing contact with the people, seeing humanity as equal existences that worships God. The angels gave them holy knowledge, deeper intelligence on Divine Magic, and much more mystical knowledge that humanity used to further their advancement.
