Chapter 11 - CHAPTER 11: GRATEFUL

As she had limited time that she could talk and just enjoy natural air without the need for the oxygen mask, Zara found her time narrowing down.

It's been nearly four hours since she had been chatting with her fans and honestly, the feeling was quite exhilarating.

For someone like her, who used to be invisible and only appeared when she was either gifting some live streamers on the platform or posting on her Ioniq account, she was happy to finally become a streamer herself.

As it was the first day, Zara was already getting overwhelmed and with her meal time and nap time approaching, she had to go offline and rest.

She had overtaxed herself and didn't want to suffer because of it.

So, she apologetically informed her viewers that she would be going offline but would definitely show up the next day and do her best to stream.

After reassuring her fans, Zara went offline.

As soon as she went offline, Ava and Emma both entered the bedroom.

Moments later, Zara was carried to the toilet where she solved her issues. After that, Ava wiped her body clean before changing her into a new set of clothes.

After grooming herself, Emma brought a small plate of watery porridge. There wasn't too much flavor in the porridge, but for Zara who had been having nutrient solutions from when she was around nine years old, the tasteless porridge was divine for her.

It's only been a week since she started having porridge, so she was happy to know that she was at least getting better. That thing didn't fail her and it seemed that as long as she followed what she was instructed, she would be able to escape her impending doom.

She didn't want to die at all but wanted to live at all costs.

It took her a great amount of time to swallow down the watery porridge. She could feel the warmth the porridge was spreading throughout her body, and that made her feel very warmhearted.

After Emma finished feeding her, Ava returned and inserted the drip into her thin arms. It was quite easy to locate her veins, after all, with all the poking, even when Ava's eyes were closed, she could easily find the place.

With the drip inserted, the oxygen mask followed and Zara drifted to sleep.

Looking at Zara as she fell asleep as soon as the medicine started kicking in, both Ava and Emma sighed with relief.

"I feel relieved seeing her like this!" Emma said emotionally, as her eyes were teary.

"It's indeed good. Who would have thought that one day we would cook for the fifth miss?"

"It's quite shocking even until now. Do you think that our princess would really make it?"

"She will. She is blessed by the heavens, otherwise, none of this would be happening."

"Anyway, let's stop talking about the stressful things."

"Um, don't worry. For now, just inform the driver to not forget to stop by that place. The Miss would flare at us if we did that!"

"Don't worry. I will remind them."

"For now, let the convoy continue. When night falls, we should be at that place too!"

"Sure."

The two ladies stopped talking and resumed their duties. When Zara was getting fed, the convoy had stopped. After all, the chef needed to prepare Zara's meal meticulously and Zara also had to eat her food without feeling any bumps.

Besides, their Miss wasn't in a rush to get to the final destination. For all of them, it was more of an adventure, as they all understood how much their mistress wanted to see the world and visit a lot of places.

Although they didn't understand why Zara was doing all of that when the clock was ticking, they were just servants and their job was to follow her. Whatever she wanted, they would get it and make her happy.

As long as she was happy, then their duties were fulfilled.

Zara slept for a long time. Since she was used to taking several naps in a day, an afternoon nap was one of those essential naps for her.

When she woke up, she wasn't surprised to see that it was already around five in the evening. She rang the bell with difficulty as she yawned.

After waiting for a while, Emma showed up, and Zara was all smiles.

Emma was someone she had been with all her life except for the first three months of her life. She had spent a lot of time with Emma than her mother. Emma to her was like another mother and she liked her a lot.

When Emma saw the drowsy girl, her heart melted as she helped Zara out of bed.

After grooming her again, Zara refused to return to the bedroom.

"At this rate, do you want me to continue being holed up in that room? Since we are outside, let me take a look!" Zara blinked her big eyes at Emma pleadingly.

Emma knew that she was in trouble the second that Zara started acting cute. And one of the sad things regarding her fifth Miss was how she couldn't even say no.

So, she found herself agreeing, though they all knew how dangerous that action might be.

Nevertheless, Emma and Ava prepared Zara for her second outing of the first day. Zara didn't mind when Ava covered half of her face with a familiar mask that had accompanied her half of her life.

Fortunately, there was only one good thing about the masks apart from how good they were at blocking dirty and dangerous gems from attacking her. They customized all the masks she used. And they all had her name printed on them; ZARA.

Apart from the face mask, a beanie covered her white hair which she didn't like tying the most. Her hands were naturally covered as she wore gloves. Something that she had been doing for like an eternity.

The only visible part of her body was her eyes, though she was wearing glasses.

Ava and Emma were very serious when it came to her health. And although the dressing was quite exaggerated and somehow seemed to be inappropriate, Zara was grateful that these two really cared for her.

At least now she was better compared to what she was like a month ago.

If she ever gets well in the future and does not die as decided, she is going to reward them handsomely for their hard work. Even before her death, in case she got unlucky, she was going to make sure that they wouldn't need to lift a finger for the rest of their lives.

They were worth being rewarded, and she was going to do her best to do that.
