Breakfast is surprisingly good, despite it being spaghetti and...just. Pasta for breakfast.
I suppose that's to be expected, though. It's not the first time I've had a food that's not strictly meant for 'breakfast' for my first meal of the day, and it won't be the last. Celeste is a good cook when she makes food in the normal way.
It turns out she is also an exceptional cook when she makes food by magically changing the properties of one food into another food.
May inhales her food, but fortunately her stomach is still just small enough that she doesn't pester or harass Celeste to make her more food once she's done.
We can't exactly discuss our plans for dealing with the beast further while May is awake. It'd be a pain to try to talk in code around her notice, and while a girl raised among mercenaries is naturally going to be tougher and more crass than one who isn't...
