Chapter 247 - Family Traditions

I smile to myself as I run a brush through my hair.

There's not terribly much of it, so it's rare that I feel like doing anything except making sure bits of debris isn't in it and that it's clean...

but...

I just...feel like it today, I suppose.

I'll chalk it up to a good morning.

I can hear May singing loudly off key in the other room.

Judging by the other voices I hear through the walls...

...It sounds like pretty much everyone is helping her in their own ways.

Talia in particular is encouraging May to sing her loudest and most energetically.

I can hear the girl's little feet bounding around from one corner to another on the wood floor.

May's energy really is endless.

Or maybe I'm just getting old and tired.

Which is weird, because I feel like I've had more rest since the end of the Angel's Tear than I've had...

Most of this life.
