Chapter 217 - Approaching Dreyton

We approach Dreyton a few days later, as the sun begins to set.

The weather has remained temperate and pleasant, though the dirt roads and undergrowth are still fairly wet and muddy in many places both from the sheer downpour that came before and the lack of truly hot and dry days since.

The caravan has had to navigate through a number of narrow passes, some of which were prone to flash flooding or were washed out.

Whether they were washed out in the storm we went through, or whether this area had extra storms that missed the places we'd been at remains to be seen, but the end result is the same.

We have to diverge from the normal routes more often than usual just to get around.

The extra supplies, thus, turn out to have incredible value.

Although it's unlikely we would have failed to make it to Dreyton without Kelros' extra supplies, it certainly would turn into a much more unpleasant trip.
