Chapter 188 - Hands of Light

An hour passes and I follow closely after Celeste as she tends to the remaining patients one by one, until eventually they all leave the tent in much better shape than they came.

Her skills are incredible. Whether it's increased confidence in herself, or she'd always been underplaying just how good she was at healing, I can't help but be impressed.

No matter how injured or dire the situation of her patients are, by the time she finishes with them only shallow cuts and bruises remain. Life ruining injuries and certain death are smoothed over and soothed by the white light from her palms.

The worse the injury the more tired it makes the patient, of course, but it is better tired than dead.

Unfortunately, with every patient, I can see the the fatigue and exhaustion grow in her eyes and limbs, watch as she sways more with every step.
