The setting sun burns bright orange behind Rhys' office as we are escorted in. When he sees Lucas, his eyes light up and he quickly crosses the room, pulling the man into a strong hug.
"Lucas! It's been ages! How've you been?"
Lucas grunts, but seems to be trying his best to be friendly back to the other man, despite his irritation.
"Here and there." He answers, pulling back from the hug. "We're...sort of on the clock right now, Rhys, we'd love to chat but I was hoping we could get to business and talk."
"Of course, of course!" He nods and gestures for us to take seats in front of his desk, a cheerful smile on his face as he heads back to the other side and sits down.
I cast a glance to the four other guards stationed around the room as I take my seat.
All are armed, but they're mostly focused on keeping their eyes and ears on the walls and door of the room rather than us.
Probably a good thing.
