Soft as it may have been, the laugh causes a lingering twinge of pain in my chest and I reach out to touch Celeste's shoulder.
"Celeste...I...uh...think you could heal me up the rest of the way? I don't want to drag us down with my recovery."
No matter how much she might doubt her own abilities, all I've seen of her healing abilities have been reliable. And I'm not nearly that injured anymore, anyway. Certainly not as bad as some of the other scrapes she's helped with.
"Oh-!" She jumps slightly at my sudden question, glancing up at me with large eyes, before looking me over worriedly. "S-sure...! Come here, and I can fix you up real fast!"
I smile at her gratefully, rubbing her head before stepping closer.
Lucas tries to protest - worried that I'm rushing things - but Celeste shakes her head. "I'm...I'm no Master Cyril but--but...something this simple I can do. I promise."
I smile at her and give a little nod. "I know you can."
