Chapter 129 - Home Cooked Dinner

Lucas gets bored, stretches, paces around, sighs, and starts searching through other record books himself.

It's not as if he knows enough about what I'm looking for or this place for his idle page flipping to be of any help, but there's little else he can do at the moment, so I can hardly expect him to do anything else.

In fact if he did try to do something else, he'd probably actually do something annoying or frustrating.

It is Lucas, after all.

I'm rather used to him finding ways to be annoying.

The afternoon stretches into evening as the light outside starts to fade. It doesn't feel like it's been that long, but I suppose that's because there's no real method to keep track of the outside world in here.

That, and there's so much more left to sift through, our small progress just makes it feel like I must only have been searching for a few minutes.
