"Thank God" Cian let out a relieving breath.
"Congratulations warrior" Tolan was the first to speak.
"Why did you bid for that instead of the scroll?" Twilight asked curiously
"Is it like a mage thing?" Titan also questioned
Cian hesitated for a moment before remembering his cover. "Y-yeah, exactly. I'm a rune mage," he said, feigning confidence.
Twilight scratched the back of his head. "Huh. Almost forgot you were a mage. So, what's the plan? Enhance weapons? Boost your ice spells? Or…"
Titan cut him off. "Why do you always want to know everything?"
Twilight shrugged. "I'm just trying to get to know him better. That's what friends do."
"Or maybe you're just interested in his account balance," Titan said with a sly grin.
Twilight flushed red. "Th-that's not true! But isn't it normal for friends to help each other out?"
