As we broke apart from our intoxicating kiss, I chuckled. "God! Waiting is the hardest thing!"
She glanced down at my pants. "Are you sure about that?"
I blinked and then backed away from her. "Alright that really is enough. I'm going to drop all of the Mana stones I got from the Zombies that I was saving for the others. Honestly, I think it would be worth it if you Transcended."
She nodded. "Alright."
I emptied my spatial ring which I had filled to the very brim. Hundreds of shining Mana stones appeared in a great mount on the cracked concrete ground.
As she bent down and began to consume them, I dashed over towards where Timmy was in the crater. Sure enough, he had become a veritable gummy bear and was screaming.
'He is tough enough to pull through. I have confidence in him.'
I turned around and dashed back to Susan. She had just consumed the last Mana stone. As she slumped to the ground, clearly in pain.
