This auxiliary chapter is filled with useful information that will be revealed throughout the novel. Spoilers will follow.
✓ The Apocalypse: The Earth is chosen by Zanoth, the god of Hatred, to be seeded with Mana as a means to farm Mana. The Mana that he infuses the world with, at the beginning of the Apocalypse, is in its light form. Zanoth's Mana spreads through lifeforms like a disease, creating Zombies who hate all living things.
✓ Mana: Is an unlimited energy source that adapts to the personality it bonds with. It can be found in four different forms: Light, gas, solid, and liquid. Light is the concentrated form that is infectious upon contact with eyes. Gaseous forms create buffs or curses depending on the wielder's personality. Solid forms are stores of condensed Mana that can be safely absorbed and consumed. Liquid Mana exists within the veins of an Awakener, Beast, and Zombie.
✓ Soulstones: A Soulstone is the solid Mana heart of an Awakener, Beast, and Zombie. It circulates liquid Mana throughout the body which can be used to perform unimaginable feats of strength and magic. Within the stone a person's very soul is held. The Mana is saturated by the ideologies of the soul unless the soul has been corrupted.
✓ Zombies: When Zanoth infused the Earth with his Mana, it still contained his personality of pure hatred for everything besides itself. Living humans and animals can be infected by Mana Light which destroys the eyes first and then directly enters the brain, conquering everything without any struggle. A god's Mana is too powerful for a lesser form such a Human to bear.
✓ Beasts: Every single animal that was not sleeping at the beginning of the Apocalypse had its eyes and brain burned. Every single one of those animals turned to a Beast. Zanoth's Mana is infused in each of them and any instincts they once had are overpowered by a sense of hatred. They have deep inherent desires to kill, mangle, and destroy all life on Earth.
✓ Awakeners: Whenever a person kills a Zombie or Beast, a Mana stone drops. When that person touches the Mana stone, he consumes it. As the Mana floods within his body, it attaches to his heart instead of his brain. A potential Awakener must fight a battle for control within his very soul. Zanoth's anger within the Mana must be controlled. If the potential Awakener fails to control the anger, his soul will be consumed without outside intervention. Once a person has awakened, there are various tiers of power.
✓ Awakener Tiers:
Formation → Color of Mana will not change, most Mana veins will be opened.
Transformation → Color of Mana will change at a certain level of Mana density and all Mana veins will open.
Ascension → The Awakener's body will be destroyed and completely remade from solid Mana to the most perfect form that specific body could reach.
Transcension → The Mana within will condense further and the Awakener's body will contain so much energy as to leave flaming footsteps in his wake.
Deification → When a certain level of Mana is reached, a person will face a trial sent by the One True Creator. An Awakener will either pass the trial or fail, and the penalty for failure is death. If an Awakener passes the trial, he will own his own pocket dimension known as a Soulscape where his soul exists along with all of the Mana he holds. The Soulscape will grow and can be shaped depending on the amount of Mana consumed.
✓ Beast/Zombie Tiers: Zombies and Beasts are the same in the sense of tiers since both their souls have been destroyed and their bodies possessed.
Actualization → The corrupted individual shows traits stemming from the origin of corruption. Ie → Zanoth's corrupted Beasts show anger.
Initiation → A link is created between the corruptor and corrupted, and he can control the corrupted Beast from anywhere in the Galaxy.
Domination → The corrupted Beast's body transforms to the will of its corrupter.
Growth Point → The Beast will either be harvested at this stage, or growth will continue and the corruptor will use the corrupted Beast as a soldier.
✓ The System: The One True Creator creates a system for everyone who creates their soulstone successfully. The system can be used until the awakener becomes a god. At that time the System will gain an Ego.
✓ World Seeding: The One True Creator grants contracts to gods for a price of service and servitude, so that they can seed worlds and claim them. All worlds with intelligent life have been claimed by The One True Creator.
✓ Zanoth: The god of Anger who owns Earth intends on building a kingdom on Earth and anyone who tries to stop him will be vanquished.
✓ Magic Spells: Are ideas and feelings formed with mana that directly link to shaping Mana into useful forms. The more complicated the idea or emotion that forms the spell, the higher tier the spell will be. The idea and feeling must be thought of exclusively with nothing else interrupting it. The longer a person has used a spell, the less time it will take to cast because the experience of that idea slowly begins to be ingrained in a person's soul. Those ideas and feelings of a Spell can begin to manifest in the way a person acts. Certain gods become consumed by their emotions because of this.
Common → With no proficiency, it takes 10 seconds to cast. The power of the Spell is low, but can be concentrated to kill.
Rare → With no proficiency, it takes 30 seconds to cast. The Spell's power is good, and can be concentrated further for enormous piercing potential.
Epic → With no proficiency, it takes a minute to cast. This Spell can annihilate whole cities, but cannot be concentrated without considerable proficiency.
Ascendant → With no proficiency, it takes 10 minutes to cast. This Spell has the potential to destroy whole nations, but cannot be concentrated without great proficiency.
Mythic → With no proficiency, it takes 30 minutes to cast. This Spell has the power to destroy whole worlds, but cannot be concentrated without unbelievable proficiency and considerable consumption of Divinity, which only gods hold.
✓ Equipment: Items that have been created using Mana. Items of Magic tier and higher have Magic Spells ingrained into them and so they are extremely useful because the idea is ingrained in the item and not the user's soul. Therefore, skills will take no time to cast and can be concentrated fully.
Common → An item just slightly better than typical non-magical items.
Rare → An item that is excellent in quality and enhances at least one stat, besides Mana, when equipped by 5%.
Epic → An item that is crafted to perfection to fit the user's form. The item will enhance all stats, besides Mana, when equipped by 10%.
Magic → An item that can shift between two forms; Ie a shield and or spear. The item will enhance all stats by 20%. The item will hold one common Magic spell that can be used once without Magic and then again with reduced Mana input.
Ascendant → An item that can shift between three forms. The item will enhance all stats by 50%. The item will hold two Rare spells that can both be used once without Mana expenditure and then continuously afterwards for a reduced Mana cost.
Transcendent → An item that can change between five forms that the user can choose. The item will enhance all stats by 100%. The item will hold three Epic spells that can all be used once with no Mana cost and then with a drastically reduced mana cost afterwards.
Mythic → An item that can change to any item that the user can imagine. The item is a sentient soul whose personality has been shaped by the highly concentrated mana that formed it and the skills it contains. This item has only ever been created by the One True Creator and no other god. The item will enhance all stats by 500%. The item will hold ten Ascendant skills that can all be used once without mana and then again at a ridiculously reduced Mana cost.
✓ Divinity: A concentrated form of Mana that only gods have. After Deification, a god can transform large amounts of Mana into Divinity. This form of Mana can perform miraculous functions like opening portals, sending souls to the past, creating new souls, and so on.
✓ Tiers of gods: When an Awakener enters into the Deification tier, he has surpassed the limits of an Awakener while being accepted by other gods and the Creator herself. As a god, there are tiers of power that must be climbed to become a relevant figure in the Universe.
Lowest Tier god → A god with less than 100 Divinity. This god will have recently passed through the deification tier. They are new at the whole affair and are still grasping at straws trying to understand the Universe and where they fit in.
Low Tier god → A god with less than 1,000 Divinity. This god will have a good understanding of the Universe as well as themselves. They will have a plan with what they want to do with their power.
Medium Tier god → A god with more than 50,000 Divinity. This god will have been around for a very long time. Each and every one of them will have a unique stance on pretty much everything.
High Tier god → A god with less than 100,000 Divinity. This god will have been around since near the time of Creation. They have seen the birth and destruction of countless civilizations. They are the sort of god that begins to understand the very cosmological workings of the universe down to the last atom so that they can create anything that they want with their Mana and not just their Divinity.
Apex Tier god → A god with more than 100,000 Divinity. This god is near the tier of the Creator. If the Creator and a god of this level were to fight each other, the victor could very well be the Apex Tier god. There are only 3 Apex Tier gods in existence.
