"We're going to... boating?"
Leslie blinked, unable to believe what Calix's impromptu plan was.
"This park has a river. We can go boating," Calix took off his tie before unbuttoning the two top buttons of his shirt, exposing the base of his front neck, "Come. Stop thinking about that woman."
"That sounds good," Leslie's smile widened, already imagining what a beautiful scenery it would be, "But, people will see you boating alone. Wanna be called a loner?"
"Ignore them. I'll wear it as a pretense so I can talk to you. Even if people see me talking, they'll think I'm on a phone call."
Calix grabbed something from the glove box, a pair of earbuds with a short strap. The black strap nestled at the back of his neck as it connected the earbuds.
"Genius," Leslie chuckled.
"I am," replied Calix, earning more laughter from Leslie.
