The little one arrived one spring morning. She was blessed by the prayers of the people eagerly awaiting her arrival.
Chaline Xu was the little bundle of joy's name. Leslie and Calix carefully picked the name, intending to honor Charlene who became the link reconnecting them again.
"Poppy's name is like Papa, Baby's name is like Mama," Calliope commented once she, also everyone else, learned the little girl's name.
Calix and Leslie laughed, knowing that Calliope referred to the lady's legal name; Charlene.
"Indeed. Because both of you are Mama and Papa's girls," Calix replied to which the weak Leslie nodded.
For the first few weeks, Calix and Leslie only focused on the newborn Chaline alongside Calliope. Thankfully, Old Madam Xu and the others accepted their decision not to accept visitors yet.
