Calix and Leslie were not shaken by their meeting with Nicholas. The latter wasn't capable of harming them at all.
Kenneth informed Calix that Nicholas remained in the mall but, there was no questionable activity sighting. Team B continued monitoring the man from afar.
After finishing the ice creams, the family of three returned to Graceville Manor. Calliope slept so soundly in the child's car seat, all exhausted yet happy from their outing.
"Has Xander contacted you again?" asked Leslie without looking at Calix. She gently stroked Calliope's hair, smiling at the sight of their daughter sleeping so well.
"Not yet," Calix shook his head, a slight frown marring his forehead, "I guess next week. I can only wait for now."
Throwing his eyes out of the moving van, Calix recalled his previous conversation with Xander. His friend sounded very confident as he said he would join Calix taking Nicholas down.
