The family of three headed to the shoreline around three in the afternoon. They took a quick nap while enjoying the sea breeze flowing inside their rooms.
Calix, Leslie and Calliope dined with Aunt Wendy and Uncle Raymond a moment ago to replenish themselves. The older couple planned to take a stroll at another part of the beach.
The sun hung lazily on the sky, casting a warm and golden hue over the island. The giant ball of light basked its warmth over the family of three.
Calix brought a basket of cold drinks and snacks while Leslie carried a tote bag of towels. The excited Calliope hugged her adorable pink floating ring. All of them had already changed into swimsuits.
"Walk slower, sweetheart," Calix glanced at Leslie by his side, "Take your time."
"Hehe, what's supposed to be a five-minute walk, got doubled because of me."
