Calix told Leslie he was currently flying above the vast ocean. It would take several more hours before he and his entourage landed in Zurich.
Leslie filled Calix in with the details of what she and Calliope did from morning to afternoon. He laughed a few times when she brought up their daughter's funny antics.
"I thought I could talk to Poppy too. She has just started napping, en?"
Calix's disappointed sigh earned chuckles from Leslie. She knew the man was dearly missing their little daughter as well despite only being separated for a few hours.
"Hehe, she asked about us going to the chocolate museum after you return," Leslie laughingly told Calix what Calliope mentioned this morning, "She seems excited ah."
Calix's helpless laughter traveled from the end of the line, reaching Leslie's ears. She couldn't deny that her heart skipped a beat before it pounded quickly, bringing colors to her cheeks.
